The Institute for Computational and Experimental Research in Mathematics (ICERM) has a unique opportunity to shape the future of the interface between mathematics and computation, and to train the next generation of mathematical and computational scientists. While its foundational programs are supported by the National Science Foundation, ICERM seeks additional funds to expand the scope of its enterprise by: hosting special events, involving industry leaders in the Idea Lab and promoting strong industry connections with young researchers, expanding the undergraduate summer research programs, and fostering a creative computational approach to K-12 mathematics through professional development, national education summits and middle/high school summer research-study programs.
ICERM seeks grants from federal agencies as well as donor support from corporations and individuals to increase the impact of its programs and vision. Donors may support specific education or research programs and events, may participate in the institute membership program, or may contribute to a general fund managed by ICERM's Board of Directors.
