December 08, 2011 - A professor at The Ohio State University and Chair of ICERM's Board of Trustees, Barbara Keyfitz became the first woman president of the International Council on Industrial and Applied Mathematics (ICIAM). The Association for Women in Mathematics AWM has also announced that Professor Keyfitz will deliver the Noether Lecture at the 2012 Joint Mathematics Meetings.
